Yue Wu, who loves literature and wushu from childhood, since he grown up, meets literary man friendly and makes friend with someone who loves wushu and he absorbed the essence of the Chinese traditional culture. When he was young, he was affected by local wushu and was taught by Wenguang LI, who was good at wushu among the people, and then Yue Wu met Yongbo Chen, who was the Yongxia Chen¡¯s sister and one of the ten female wushu stars. Yongbo Chen taught him established series of skills and tricks in wushu and ancient Yunyang¡¯s wushu developed in Wu Dang. he was also looking for someone who is good at wushu, which were Liu He Quan stick, Ba Fa hammer, natural fighting, Nian Shou tumble, skills of catching acupuncture point etc.. During this period, Yue Wu met several famous teachers and he was modest and eager to learn, finally, he became Lihang Liu¡¯s disciple. Lihang Liu, a centenarian, was the only number twenty-second disciple of Wu Dang Chunyangmen. After eight years, Yue Wu learned the essence of wushu, and became the number twenty-third disciple of Wu Dang Chunyangmen. Yue Wu is different from others in selecting and teaching disciples enjoying his own principle. Every disciple has the unique skill, such as Jin Dan Tie Bu Shan, natural fight, skills of catching acupuncture point etc., which could be called consummate skills. Since these skills were showed on Shandong TV, Hunan TV, and CCTV etc., everyone who enjoys wushu was shocked. The disciples of Wu Dang spread in China and overseas.
Wudang kungfu (wushu) is profound and informed, Wudang genres are complicated. Thus the original Wudang kungfu reserved and served for all society is very lack. Wudang kungfu is brilliant, but is still fragmented.
The progress of Wudang kungfu¡¯s popularization is in a period with communications. Many choices and chance of discovering have been givenby the progress speed of information industry.
¡°Revitalize an original wushu, inherit and spread the soul of kungfu¡±. How many authentic folk kungfu will be found? How many new people who learn Kungfu will come out? We still need to think about this when we feel gratifying.
In our teaching progress, we found all the students were looking for a systemic and authentic. It is a prevalent social requirement.
Why don¡¯t we show the extant fortune to all of people after we lost many precious fortunes? It is too urgent to collect all Wudang Kungfu.
However, any wushu organization can not bring out a course of phase update as the authority of Wudang easily. The reason is that it has been proved by many experts and scholars, recognized and served by the commonalty. It is called ¡°Jiang Hu (all corners in a world )¡±!
It is not possible to show a complicated system of developing phase without researching and exploring the traditional Chinese wushu and Wudang kungfu.
So, we do not only need courage, but also need ability in a process of establishing this system. We have got big pressure; we devoted incalculable painstaking effort. Responsibility for the society is our impetus.
This is a peerless pioneering work of inheriting Wudang kungfu in the history. It is also an indicative mark of traditional Chinese folk wushu.
The book of ¡°Phase of Wudang Kungfu¡± is a result of our teaching experience and theory. There are many different courses for students who are in different age and levels. It should be scientific and appropriate.
In technology, the original draft of ¡°Phase of Wudang Kungfu¡± has discarded a lot of groups, included the most unique, representative contents and also made choice carefully, making it precise and integrated.
In academic view, ¡°Phase of Wudang Kungfu¡± emphasizes many skills, because we must start with a basic and common aspect, even to academic. It is the vitality continuing of traditional kungfu.
We have done our best and collected many comments, although we cannot gain all the social materials and contained all advanced skills in this special history. ¡°Phase of Wudang Kungfu¡± will be a prefect model.
There must be gods in the heaven; the deserts can be commented by the posterities.
We hope the new epoch of Wudang wushu comes!
